Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AP Finish Carpentry LLC, doing business as TrueSquare Digital ("TrueSquare," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information in our games. It covers every TrueSquare Digital game (past, current, and future), on any platform, unless a particular game links to a different policy. It also covers this website and any support you get from us.
Current and upcoming titles include:
- Sit Tight: Slide Car Puzzle (Android,
com.truesquare.sittight) - Amber Fire: Night Match (Android,
com.truesquare.amberfire, coming soon)
Games differ. This policy describes the kinds of data our games may involve. Each game's store listing (the Data safety section on Google Play, or the App Privacy section on the Apple App Store) shows exactly what that game collects and shares. If that listing and this policy ever seem to disagree, email us and we will fix it.
1. Summary
- No accounts. You don't need to sign up or log in to play our games today.
- Your saves stay on your device. Levels, scores, and settings are saved locally, and we don't receive a copy of your save. Release builds send limited gameplay events, such as the level, attempt count, and (in Amber Fire) score, to Firebase Analytics, as described in Section 2(c).
- Release builds use Google Firebase Analytics. Google LLC processes that data for us. We do not sell it. Details are in Section 2(c).
- Ads are served by Google AdMob. AdMob collects and shares device identifiers, IP address, and approximate location for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, and to personalize ads where you allow it.
- Purchases, where offered, are handled by Google Play or Apple. We never see your card details.
- We don't sell your personal information for money, and we don't build player profiles of our own.
- Our games are for teens and adults, aged 13 and over.
2. Information our games may involve
a) Game progress and settings (stored on your device)
Progress, unlocked levels, hints, sound and display settings, and similar preferences are stored locally on your device. TrueSquare does not receive your saved game. Release builds report some gameplay details, such as the level, attempt count, and (in Amber Fire) score, through Firebase Analytics, as described in Section 2(c). Your save is removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the game. Your device's own backup feature (for example Android or iCloud backup) may copy it under that platform's terms.
b) Advertising data (collected by Google AdMob)
Many of our free games show ads served by Google AdMob and its advertising partners:
- Interstitial ads are full-screen ads shown at natural breaks, for example between levels or after you restart a game.
- Rewarded ads are optional. You choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward, such as a hint, a power-up, or a chance to continue. The reward is given only after the ad network confirms the ad was watched.
Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) collects and shares the data below for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, and to personalize ads where permitted:
- device identifiers, such as the Advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS, only if you allow tracking);
- IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it;
- app interactions with ads (for example views and taps), and basic device and diagnostic information.
On Android, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may also use Android Privacy Sandbox APIs (Topics and Attribution Reporting) to choose and measure ads. You can turn these off in your device's ad privacy settings.
AdMob impression-level ad revenue is turned on for these games. That shares ad revenue values with Firebase Analytics, as described in Section 2(c).
Google processes this data under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
c) Analytics data (Google Firebase Analytics)
Release builds of Sit Tight: Slide Car Puzzle and Amber Fire: Night Match use Google Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase). Google LLC processes this data for us as a processor and service provider.
Firebase Analytics collects:
- app interactions, including screens viewed and sessions, level start and level end (with success, the reason, the attempt count, and the time spent on the level), continues, the score in Amber Fire: Night Match (sent with level start, level end, and continue events), ads offered, shown, and earned, and ad revenue (value, currency, placement, and format);
- the app instance ID and device or other identifiers, including the advertising ID where permitted;
- approximate location derived from IP address;
- diagnostics and app performance information;
- device model, operating system, and app version.
Collection is enabled only in release builds. Google Signals is off. We do not set user IDs. We do not export analytics data to BigQuery. We do not sell this data.
The Google Analytics property is set to keep event data for 14 months. Google then deletes it. See Section 8.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the UMP consent message includes Google Analytics. Consent mode is on. Google Consent Mode v2 signals from that message are passed to Analytics. If consent cannot be obtained, including when the request times out, consent mode is set to denied. Play is never blocked. You can change your choices later with the in-game Ads/privacy option. See Section 5.
See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, Privacy and Security in Firebase, and Safeguarding your data.
d) Crash and diagnostics data
Google Play (for example Android Vitals) and Apple may collect crash reports and performance data from your device, depending on your device settings, and share summaries with us. These reports help us fix bugs. We don't use them to identify you.
In Amber Fire: Night Match, we use Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) to receive crash reports. When the game crashes or hits an error, it sends the error details, app version, device model, operating system, and memory and storage state at the time, plus a Crashlytics installation ID and a Firebase installation ID. It does not use the advertising ID, and we add no personal details. It turns on and off with the same consent setting as analytics. Crashlytics keeps this data for 90 days.
e) Purchases (if offered)
Some games may offer in-app purchases, such as removing ads. These are processed by Google Play Billing or Apple's App Store. The store handles your payment details. We receive only what we need to deliver the purchase, such as a purchase confirmation or order token. We never receive your full card or bank details.
f) Information you send us
If you email, call, or contact us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your email address, phone number, and the content of your message. We use it only to respond to you and keep basic records.
g) Features we may add later
Future games or updates may add accounts or sign-in, cloud save, or leaderboards or achievements (for example Google Play Games or Apple Game Center). Analytics in Sit Tight: Slide Car Puzzle and Amber Fire: Night Match is described in Section 2(c). Before any other such feature ships, we will update this policy and the game's store data disclosures to describe it, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
3. How we use information
We use information only to:
- run the game and remember your progress and settings;
- show ads that keep our games free, including personalized ads where you have consented;
- understand how the games are played and measure ads, using Firebase Analytics in release builds;
- deliver and restore purchases;
- fix bugs and improve stability;
- answer support requests;
- prevent fraud and invalid ad activity, and meet legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We don't sell your personal information for money. Data is shared with or collected by others only in these cases:
- Advertising partners (Google AdMob and partners Google works with), as described in Section 2(b). AdMob collects and shares the data described there for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Under some US state laws, using data for personalized ("targeted" or "cross-context behavioral") advertising may count as a "sale" or "sharing." You can opt out as described in Section 5.
- Google Firebase Analytics (Google LLC), as our processor and service provider, as described in Section 2(c). We do not sell this data.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC), as our processor and service provider for crash reports in Amber Fire: Night Match, as described in Section 2(d). We do not sell this data.
- App stores and platforms (Google, Apple), for distribution, purchases, and crash reporting.
- Service providers we use to run the business, such as our email provider.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers: if TrueSquare Digital or a game is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
5. Your choices and ad consent
- Consent form. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, our games show Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent message. That message includes Google Analytics. Consent mode is on. You can accept, decline, or manage your choices. Google Consent Mode v2 signals from the UMP result are passed to Firebase Analytics. If consent cannot be obtained, including when the request times out, consent mode is set to denied. Play is never blocked.
- Change your mind. Open the in-game Ads/privacy option to change those choices later.
- Device controls. On Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) to reset or delete your Advertising ID, or to opt out of ads personalization. On iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Uninstalling the app stops analytics collection.
- Google's ad settings: adssettings.google.com
- Opt out of "sale/sharing" (US states): use the in-game Ads/privacy option where shown, use the device controls above, or email us.
If you decline personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized ads. Those use limited data such as coarse location and context.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA or UK under GDPR, or California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising or "sale/sharing." We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Because we have no accounts and our games keep your saves on your device (only the limited analytics described in Section 2(c) reaches us), we usually hold little or no personal information about you. On-device game data can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling. For advertising choices and the advertising ID, use the tools in Section 5. We delete support emails on request (support@truesquaredigital.com). Firebase Analytics data is not tied to an identifiable person, so it can't be deleted individually. It ages out after 14 months, and players can reset the advertising ID or uninstall. We may need to verify your request, and we will reply within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. EEA and UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.
Legal bases (EEA/UK): We rely on consent for personalized ads and, where required, for analytics (through the UMP message and Consent Mode in Section 5), on contract to provide the game and purchases you ask for, and on legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention, bug fixing, and support.
7. Data deletion
We delete support emails on request (support@truesquaredigital.com).
Firebase Analytics data is not tied to an identifiable person, so it can't be deleted individually. It ages out after 14 months, and players can reset the advertising ID or uninstall.
Saves and settings stay on your device. Clear the app's data or uninstall the game to remove them from the device.
8. Retention
We delete support correspondence on request (support@truesquaredigital.com), or when it is no longer needed to resolve your request and meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations. We do not keep player profiles. Firebase Analytics data is not tied to an identifiable person, so it can't be deleted individually. It ages out after 14 months, and players can reset the advertising ID or uninstall. Google Analytics event data is retained for 14 months, then deleted by Google under the property's data-retention setting. That setting is 14 months. Firebase Crashlytics crash reports for Amber Fire: Night Match are kept for 90 days, then deleted by Google. Google keeps other ad data under its own retention policies. Platform crash data is kept by Google or Apple under their policies.
9. Security
Data sent by the ad, analytics, and store SDKs in our games is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We limit what we collect and who can access our support records. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
10. Children
Sit Tight: Slide Car Puzzle and Amber Fire: Night Match are for teens and adults (ages 13 and up). The maximum ad content rating for these games is T (Teen).
Our games are intended for players aged 13 and over. Our games are not directed to children under 13, and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland we collect consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads or analytics storage. We do not ask for age-restricted information, and our games do not include chat or user-generated content.
If a specific game is ever intended for children or mixed audiences, its store listing will say so. That game will follow the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy, including limiting ads to non-personalized, family-appropriate ads.
Parents: if you believe your child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us at support@truesquaredigital.com or 614-300-0440. We delete support emails on request (support@truesquaredigital.com). Firebase Analytics data is not tied to an identifiable person, so it can't be deleted individually. It ages out after 14 months, and players can reset the advertising ID or uninstall.
11. International users
TrueSquare Digital is based in the United States. Our partners, such as Google, may process data in the US and other countries. Where required, those transfers use legal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. Our website
truesquaredigital.com is a static informational site with no accounts or login cookies. Our hosting provider may log basic technical data (such as IP address) for security. Embedded third-party content (for example fonts, videos, or store badges) may set its own cookies under that provider's policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our games change. We will change the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, such as a new type of data collection, we will update the policy before the change ships, and give notice in the app or store listing where appropriate.
